| Well... I am officially a hermit. A hermit ἐρημίτης (from the Greek ἔρημος erēmos, signifying "desert", "uninhabited", hence "desert-dweller") is a person who lives to some greater or lesser degree in seclusion and/or isolation from society. I don't really want to do anything except watching movies, series, and download. It's sad that the thing I look forward most right now is getting some corn nuts. And of course downloading 24 so I can get the 4th season. I mean I get invitations to parties and dinner stuff but for some reason I just don't want to make the effort. I really should shouldn't I? Anyways, I'll try to make a effort to do something, but I'm really enjoying doing nothing. Yet I feel guilty. Well for the time being I really want some corn nuts!!! | | |
| Well I'm officially back in Venezuala again. Don't quite know the feeling yet. I have been watching 24 for the last 4 days. I had two series, but Aaron won't give me the 3rd!!!! untile he has to go to Caracas next Tuesday. I swear it's like crack. I am so addicted. Anyways, we are running again which is good. We ran on Sunday and Wednesday so far. We did 5k on Sunday and 6k on Wednesday. I am please with the prograss . So yeah not much going on. Well.. I guess I'll update later. Please tell me any interesting story you have. | | |
| I know, I know it took me a while to update.
Well... I'm finally back in Austin for a while this time!!! I was in Miami last week. It was kinda sucky. I swear the roads in Miami do not make sense!!!! It was really crowded in Miami because of Spring break and honestly I thought Miami was really poor looking. It really reminded me of Venezuala. Especially with the a lot of signs just being painted on.
Down town was kinda pretty and Miami Beach was nice. We didn't go to any beaches though. Too crowded. Pluse if there's nothing else in Venezuala there are beaches. Here's some pics of the place.
Then we went to Universal Studio!!! it was fun!!! | | |
| Let's see... went to Puerto La Cruz (the correct spelling) this Sunday. It was pretty fun. We went to try to find the Chinese market we went to last time. After lots of searching we finally found it. But it was closed. The owners goes to a chinese club every Sunday afternoon. Go figure... Here's a picture of the street it was on. It's pretty poor side of the neighborhood.

It's amazing the difference between the poor and rich. There's one road where on one side is all trash and shacks and the other side is houses on the ocean front with boats. I didn't get a very good picture of the place cause we were just driving through. Next time...
Here's a picture of the place where everything is made of coconuts. Too bad the run out when we got there.

We went to eat luch at an Arabic place. We had Chawamas. It was really really good. i kinda ate mine befor we got a good picture of it.... But here's me finishing it off.

Where the meat from my Chawama came from... yummmmm.....
Anyways, let's see what else. Aaron's old boss is back. He's got a job in New orleans. I hope he'll sell us his TV. really really hope so. He can buy one so much cheaper in US.
I'm invited to coffee at Francie's house today. I wonder if it's just me or a whole bunch of other ppl. I guess we'll see.
To be continued...

| Well.. they are going to offer me a position officially. But they want a resume and my deploma. I wish I knew I was gonna get a job here. I don't have either of them. Fortunately I was able to find a copy of my resume that was e-mailed back to me by Matt. yay!! so I don't have to write another one. I call my dad to fax me the deploma. Aren't I smart?!!!!!
Anyways, Good news is they agree to give me the internet, DirectTV and free spanish classes. Bad news is the pay is still $12,000.
Anyways I'll write more later
